In Hotels, Las Vegas

I have heard buzz about HOTEL32 in Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino. I have heard buzz, but not a whole lot of information is available. I am speculating that HOTEL32 will be considered a boutique hotel for Monte Carlo and that it will be located on the 32nd floor, the top floor. If you recall, the 32nd floor was damaged by a rooftop fire back on January, 25, 2008. It seems that Monte Carlo decided to make the most out of that disaster and make their 32nd floor better than ever. Good for them.
I am excited at the thought of Monte Carlo offering a more exclusive side. However, information on this hotel is limited, so if any of the readers out there can shed some light on this secretive project please comment.

Well, I guess the unbelievable rate of $119 was just that, unbelievable. Wynn & Encore Las Vegas have just pulled their previous rates and bumped them up to $139 a night. Even though I am a little disappointed, $139 is still a pretty good rate for these two luxury hotels. If you are planning a trip to Wynn or Encore in the future, you may want to book sooner rather than later. You never know when the next bump may be…

It took some searching, but I found this fantastic deal for Wynn & Encore. Who would have thought that the brand new, exclusive Encore Las Vegas would be offering their rooms at $119 a night, plus a a $50 Resort Credit? Not me, that’s for sure. I thought it would be a least a year or two before I would find a deal affordable enough for me to stay at this ultra upscale hotel. Hmmm… perhaps my tax refund will go to Encore this year!!!
If anyone out there takes advantage of this deal, please comment on the hotel. Thanks!

October 15th is a date full of Las Vegas birthdays.

Fifteen years ago today, Luxor Las Vegas opened it’s doors. In 1993, Luxor’s pyramid debuted as the tallest building on The Strip.
On the very same day, five years later, Bellagio Las Vegas welcomed visitors into their hotel. Back in 1998, Bellagio was the most expensive hotel ever built, with a price tag just over $1.6 billion.

Congratulations to both hotels. May you have many more successful years ahead.
